We use a universal Fitting Chart to statically fit golfers before we leave the shop to see which clubs suit your size. By measuring your wrist to floor and height we can quickly see which lie angle and length of club you need to start the fitting process.
Custom Fitting
Once we are on the Practice Area with your statically fitted clubs, we start paying attention to the ball flight and the areas on the club which strike both the ball and the ground. With this information we can adjust the lie of the club to help you strike the ball better and more consistently from the middle of the club or sweet spot.
Dynamic Fitting
After we have completed the previous two processes of Static and Custom fitting we start using the Flightscope Launch Monitor. The monitor will provide us information on carry, distance, ball speed, club head speed, vertical launch, angle of attack and much more. With this information we can do the following:
• Change the loft and shaft to help you achieve the optimum launch or your preferred launch
• Fit a shaft to suit your Club Head Speed and Tempo
• Gauge whether you should have a deep faced or larger club head from your Angle of Attack
• Establish which ball would best suit you
• Change the lie of an iron according to shape of shot. For instance if you hook the ball we may make the club lie flatter and if you slice the ball we may make the club lie more upright to help neutralize the ball flight.
• Alter the clubface position on woods to help control ball flight. For instance if you hit a high hook we may open the clubface on a Wood which inturn reduces loft and can help you shape the ball less with hook spin and reduce height.
Custom Fitting sessions cost £50 for 45 minutes. If you buy a club you receive £25 cash back.
